During the 18-month project, the research team will use drones and other methods to collect and study particles and aerosol concentrations that form clouds. Here's the project link, as well as the ASC science planning summary link describing the project. Of particular interest to me is Dan Lubin, the principal investigator at UC San Diego...as I met him at Palmer in 1988. He told me he won't be deploying this summer due to capacity constraints, but hopes to go next summer.
